Begining his journey in 1999, Adam Cuvilier came upon Edmonton’s electronic music scene when he moved there from Nova Scotia. Buying his first set of tables in 2003, Cuvy desired to become further involved and began throwing his own shows and playing clubs and events. Also he had a radio show called Smooth Radio at CJSR 88.5FM which he held down for over 5 years. Cuvy has now moved over to House Underground FM also on 88.5FM co-hosting with Marzetti. He has since played all over Canada not to mention his five gig tour of Thailand in June of 2007. Read more…

Angus Robinson has been a mainstay in the Canadian breaks scene since he first started DJing in 1999. He is perhaps best known as the founder of Money Shot Recordings. Angus started the label in 2004 to create an outlet for up and coming artists to release some of the funkiest breakbeat jams in the world. Since its inception, Money Shot has released tunes from Atomic Hooligan, Drumattic Twins, Maelstrom, Myagi, and many more.

From 2001 - 2008, Angus held a job at the world-renowned Release Records, which for several years was regarded as the premier website to buy dance music vinyl and MP3 downloads. Some of Release Records’ regular customers included Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, Hybrid, Tiesto, Uberzone, and Steve Lawler. Angus managed the Release Records website, ran the distribution department, and conducted all breakbeat purchasing. Sadly, in 2008 Angus left Release Records to pursue other opportunities. Read more…
