Boogie Army
Boogie Army (aka Captain Koma and Marten Hoerger) met the first time back in 2000. After spending 4 years together partying, DJing and working together in the studio they released their first record “Boogie Army – Busta/Hyperkrank” on Berlin based label “Carepack Records” in 2004.
The record became one of the best selling German breaks records at that time. Due to the massive success of Boogie Army’s remix of Infekto’s “The Real Funk”, you know we had to get Boogie Army on board for some more awesomeness. We have been fortunate enough to secure two new tunes from Boogie Army, which follow along the lines of their “The Real Funk” remix - heavy on the funk and electro sounds. These two tunes should be released at the end of 2009.

Money Shot’s third release takes it back to the old school with a solid acid breaks belter combining classic drums and funky horn stabs. It’s one of those tracks that will stick in your head for a while, with its catchy vocal hook and infektious groove. Also recording under “Rico Tubbs” for Atomic Hooligan’s Menu Music label, Infekto is one of the hottest upcoming breakbeat artists out there at the moment. Read more…
