As his influences he always mentions Spede (Finnish comedian/inventor), Chevy Chase & Biz Markie. The most powerful inspiration though must still be cross-country skiing in the cold dark woods of Finland.
Infekto’s tunes as his DJ sets combine the whole spectrum of broken beats from funk to hip hop to nu breaks to drum & bass not forgetting the raw ol' skool hardcore sound of 92' and a touch of jazz. His first release on 925 "Left hand Jazz" got rave reviews from some of the biggest names in the business: Roni Size 5/5,"Buy it Now" Knowledge magazine, appeared on Gilles Peterson comp. on cover of a Muzik magazine. ...and that was just opening the flood gates.
