Infekto (aka Rico Tubbs) has been turning heads on the funkier floors across the world with his signature sound of heavy, polished beats alongside party-rockin bass and catchy hooks-a-plenty. Funky Music carries a similar tone to Ghetto Soul, Miami Treble, and his last Money Shot outing, The Real Funk. Funky Music also pays tribute to one of our favourite instruments of all time - The Cowbell. Cuz every tune could use a little More Cowbell.
Splank recording artists Groove Allegiance come through with a slammin remix on the flip, and they've even added some of their own guitar licks for added pinash. With Groove Allegiances tech funk beats, deep analog bass, electro synths, and of course their kick ass guitar skills, it's easy to see why these cats were added to the Money Shot roster. Expect more Money Shot tunage from the Groove Allegiance camp.

An Infekto joint on Money Shot with a Groove Allegiance remix - it's basically the breakbeat equivalent of the A-Team hooking up with Rambo and Magnum, so don't mess! Cowbells, rasping bass, bumpy beats and plenty of funk are the ingredients here, and like all Infekto releases, it's hotter than the sun. Remix-wise Groove Allegiance dilute the bashment with a dash of their now trademark P-funk. Outrageously essential.

Infekto (aka Rico Tubbs) lands his latest signature sound on Money Shot number 7 release. ‘Funky music’ as what the title suggested, is a funky number that is sure to give fans a run for their money.
With a party-rocking basslines and well-polished drumbeats, you can be sure that it will make anyone on the dancefloor boogie along with its vocal hook and fantastic rhythm. Also, the clever usage of the cowbell has funked up the whole track to another level.
n the flip side, it's the Spank records duo, The Groove Allegiance (made up of Jonny Strinati and Chris Hughes) who took up the task of re-interpretation. By stripping the original track, the duo recreated the remix with more techfunk beats, accompanied by a big fat deep bass sound. Of course, not forgetting their trademark guitar licks, often played by Chris to push up the vibe and energy of the mix. To sum up, 'Funky Music' is set to let Money Shot flag fly high away.

Ne è la prova questo 'Funky Music' per Money Shoot, incisione bongolata e gradevolissima che s'incastra a meraviglia nel filone 'vintage' inaugurato dai Soul Of Man. Buoni i sample vocali, aria trascinante e gioiosa, bassi che pompano e qualche leggera inflessione acidognola: il divertimento è largamente assicurato. Anche il remix dei Groove Allegiance (Jonny Strinati e Chris Hughes) adempie al suo sporco compito, è anzi maggiormente ipnotico, stemperando appena quell'aria old skool, forse troppo rilevante nell'original version. Ottimi i synth, belle le ripartenze, grande padronanza nei ritmi.
