 Although releases have been sparse this year, we haven't gone away. In fact, we have 5 strong releases planned for 2008 (most of which have been posted below), as well as plenty of new prospects in the works. We are currently reevaluating our distribution strategy as the market shifts from vinyl to digital, hence the delay. More info will be posted very soon.

Maelstrom & Groove Allegiance! - 080213 |
 Groove Allegiance has just supplied Money Shot with a fantastic little tune called Playing Dumb. It's definitely one of their funkier, more breakbeat-oriented or their more recent productions. This release is backed by a Maelstrom remix which absolutely kills it. Maelstrom is also the newest artist in the Money Shot camp with a new single titled "The Glue" forthcoming in a few months. It features remixes by Myagi and Timewarp Inc.

We have just signed a new single from Break the Box. If you've been following breakbeat releases over the past year, his productions will be no stranger to you, and Lovely Friday is one of the funkiest tunes of his yet. There's also a remix from Basement Freaks. Coming out mid 2008.

 Myagi's Dirty Girls has just been given the once-over by France-based production duo Projectiles as well as electro house newcomer Groovy Cuvy . This release will be out some time in early-mid 2008, but no release schedule has been set yet. Keep a lookout!

 AMB - Mechanical is out on vinyl now. Juno has copies among other fine vinyl outlets. The download is exclusively available at Money Shot Recordings' new shop for the next couple weeks and will be available on all major download sites after that. It's been a long time in the works, but we're pleased to finally announce that the new Money Shot Recordings website is now online! We've added a ton of new stuff, the biggest of which is the SHOP where you can buy all kinds of Money Shot swag (Downloads, Vinyl, and T-Shirts). In addition, we've added a FORUM where you can post feedback, or anything else Money Shot-related (...or not). Money Shot Radio now has its own website and label owner Angus Robinson 's website has been redone as well. |

2 New Boogie Army Tracks : 07/03/02 |
 We've just picked up 2 new tracks from Boogie Army (Bass Peeling and Mercedez Bounz), both of which are ragga-flavoured peak time dancefloor bombs. Boogie Army are quickly gaining recognition for their simple but effective approach to production, focusing on full-bodied synths and chunky tech-funk drums. A Steelzawheelz remix of Bass Peeling is in the works as well. |

 Groove Diggerz have been on fire lately with their own labels Breakin Even and Even Flow, as well as numerous remixes on other labels. The quality of their productions is outstanding, so we thought we'd give 'em a go on the AMB "Mechanical" remix. The result is truly stunning, offering a much different style than the original, but still rocks the party proper. |

 It's been a sad week in the land of breakbeat. Intergroove, one of the best vinyl distributors, has just gone out of business. This will likely affect many labels and artists in the industry. Since Intergroove was our exclusive vinyl distributor, Money Shot was one of the labels affected greatly by this, but we will find a way to carry on. |

 The wheelz are in motion for Money Shot's 6th release (Steelzawheelz - Discotron), and feedback has been phenomenal so far with both the original and remix getting acolades from the industry's best. The tracks are being cut and mastered this week, and release date has been set for June 5, 2006. We'd love to hear what you think of the tunes!

 Just when you thought your friends at Money Shot couldn't get any funkier, we go and tell Circuit Breaker to craft one of the funkiest jams that's ever come out of his Berlin studio. SuperStyleDeluxe round out the package nicely with a dirty electro breaks remix with big bass. We've just had the lacquers cut, and the release date is scheduled for mid March '06.

Radio support has also been immense with play on BBC Radio 1 (UK) , 103.5 WKTU (New York City), WINK-FM (Florida), UP FM (New Zealand), and tons of Internet Radio stations.  While Money Shot did not win any awards directly at Breakspoll this year, we did make a bit of progress! Label owner, Angus Robinson, was voted #38 in the International DJ Poll, Steelzawheelz was voted 25th Best Producer, and West Records (Steelzawheelz' label) won the Breakthrough Label Award.
